Judge Fish – A Look at the Exclusive Promo Judge!

Ian Livingstone’s classic board game Judge Dredd: The Game of Crime-Fighting in Mega-City One returns next week with our new edition, which includes the introduction of the Specialist Judges expansion.

And there’s one Specialist Judge you can only get when you order from our webstore – Judge Fish! But what do they bring to the table? Let’s take a closer look!

Judge Fish

The Judge Fish standee placed on the river that runs down the Mega-City One board from Judge Dredd: The Game of Crime-Fighting in Mega-City One. In front of them is their ability token, which reads:
“Aquatic
You may cross the river where there is no bridge present. You may ignore bridge closures.
You can move from the Grand Hall of Justice to the Power Tower this way, but cannot enter the open water on the left of the map.
Judge Fish”

Judge Fish might not be the most formidable Judge out there, but don’t count him out entirely. What he lacks in strength he more than makes up for in swimming ability, with his Aquatic ability allowing him to swim across the river and ignore any bridge closures over the course of the game.

By sticking close to the water you can take advantage of this added mobility to avoid fellow Judges or bypass some of the more powerful Perps who make an appearance. You can also quickly move from the Grand Hall of Justice to the Power Tower, giving you an additional route to go and claim some extra cards.

Judge Fish’s ability to swim across the river also comes in handy if you ever end up at the Justice Department Hospital – which chances are you will do once or twice given that Judge Fish’s base Strength is only 5. The ability to move across the river space gives you additional spaces you can move to after recovering from a humiliating defeat – just brush it off and get straight back into the action!

Every order of Judge Dredd: The Game of Crime-Fighting in Mega-City One from our webstore includes a free copy of the Judge Fish promo. Order your copy today and bring the (fish) scales of justice to Mega-City One!
