Crash, blast, and race your way to victory around customisable tracks in an adrenaline-fueled frenzy!
JOYRIDE is bringing white-knuckle tabletop racing action to Kickstarter next month. Up to four players smash the pedal to the metal in this fast-paced and high-impact race to cross the finish line first.
The Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign will offer two exciting ways to get in on the action. JOYRIDE: Survival of the Fastest is a two to four-player standalone set with four cars and two tracks, while JOYRIDE DUEL: Next Gen is a dedicated two-player standalone set with two cars and two smaller maps.
The two boxes are fully cross-compatible, and both contain a variety of track layouts, rules variants, and unique items to keep racers coming back to the starting line again and again.
“JOYRIDE is a game that is as fun as it is tactical,” says Duncan Molloy, Head of Rebellion Unplugged and co-designer of JOYRIDE. “We wanted to bring the pace, humour, interactivity and tension inherent in racing to the tabletop, drawing inspiration from classic videogames, miniatures and board games, comics and movies into an explosion of noise and colour.”

After wowing gamers at conventions in the UK and the US over the past year, JOYRIDE makes its final stop before crowdfunding at Gen Con. Visit Rebellion Unplugged at booth 601 to put your driving skills to the test from 3 – 6 August.

JOYRIDE is ready to hit the track next month with a crowdfunding campaign that promises exciting stretch goals content. Backers of the campaign in the first 48 hours will receive a free set of wooden gate tokens to upgrade their racing experience.
